1 of my favorite times of the year is when the peaches start to appear on the Hudson Valley farm stands, it means the warm weather is here and the farm stands are open!

This is a perfect summer BBQ dessert, so quick and simple and utterly scrummy! The carmael makes itself inside the peaches!



1 peach per person

1 teaspoon of butter per peach

1 teaspoon brown sugar per peach

Aluminium (or Aluminum) foil



  1.  Chop the peaches in half and remove the stone
  2.  Place butter in 1 side, sugar in the other place the 2 halves back together and wrap in foil
  3. Place on the grill over low heat for 20 mins
  4.  Serve with vanilla ice cream (home made is best!)
